It’s wonderful to be able to relive and also use your mind to understand and visualize the interpretation of the author, also by giving more information that for this book that was made into a movie was missing and if Hollywood would hold true to the authors true meaning of what they were conveying to the audience it would be more helpful in understanding that what we see and what we read would match unfortunately Hollywood is limited to time constraints and money, understanding that in itself a lot of the most important things end up on the cutting room floor. I read the novel when it first came out years ago, I wanted to relive what was ion the printed page, movies are wonderful medium but books bring to life and give more understanding to what is trying to be conveyed by the author.Īfter reading this book again, it reminded me that printed material in the way that the author intended it to be considering it was made into a movie it fills in many gaps but the movie itself does not touch on nor give a understanding why certain things happened.
